Sale Description
  The Ypsilanti Planning department has indicated that the property could be purchased under a condominium arrangement where the parking lot is shared common area and the church is under one ownership and the annex is under another ownership. Thus the church could be sold separately from the annex.
Loft Redevelopment
  The Ypsilanti Planning department has indicated that the property could be redeveloped with the annex being one condominium and the church could be redeveloped into three to five more residential condominiums. The existing parking could meet the requirements. This could accommodate loft development.
Excluded Fixtures
  The pipe organ and stain glass windows are excluded from the sale. If a church wants to have the pipe organ and stain glass windows included in the sale then we can negotiate those items. If the property is redeveloped or sold for another use, the owner will contract to have the stain glass windows and pipe organ removed from the building.

  A handicap ramp is on the south side of the annex building. It provides access to the sanctuary. Handicap bathrooms are in the annex building.
Kitchen
  There are two kitchens in the building. The kitchen on the main floor has 4 sinks, a stove and an opening onto the overflow section. This is an excellent place for church coffee hours. The kitchen in the lower level has 2 stoves, 3 sinks and a commercial dishwasher.
Fellowship Hall
 

The fellowship hall is on the lower level of the building. The kitchen is adjacent with a serving window onto the fellowship hall The fellowship hall also opens onto a series of classrooms that total 45 ft by 24 ft.

There are six different classrooms in the building. Many can be combined by opening the folding walls.

  The building has a boiler for heat.
Annex Description
  The annex is approx. 62 ft by 48 ft and was added in 1982. It has forced air heat and is fully air conditioned. It has handicap bathrooms and a ramp to the south. The building has four offices/classrooms and a large multipurpose room. First Congregational United Church of Christ would like to continue to worship in this building. They would be interested in working out a condominium arrangement or a long term lease for the annex building. The annex building was re-roofed in 2007.
